The Luck of Finding Each Other

While painting this artwork I was thinking about something very simple: how unlikely, and at the same time wonderful, it is to find each other. Among billions of people, possibilities, paths we could have taken and lives we could have lived... sometimes two people meet. That is why I painted a mom and dad close together, on the same branch. But then, if you look closely, there is a third little squirrel further down. ❤
Because I wanted to tell not only the luck of meeting, but the beauty of everything that can be born from that encounter. Two people choose each other. They build something together. And one day that "us" can become a family.
Around them I created an almost dreamlike world, full of matter, light, gold, and nature, because for me the true wealth of life is also this: having someone to share it with. Perhaps we too often take the people beside us for granted. And instead, if we really think about it, meeting among infinite possibilities and managing to build something together is an immense fortune. The Luck of Finding Each Other. And then, even more, the luck of choosing each other every day. 🐿️🐿️🐿️❤
